I think my favourite colours came from these early memories. Turquoise...olive...pink. The image of that gorgeous clear water is also vivid in my mind. Memories of swimming deeper and deeper...the turquoise getting darker and darker...I can't imagine fully capturing that sensation with paint. Maybe one day.
